Project H.E.L.P. Healthy Enduring Life Practices (Teen Pregancy Prevention)
In an effort to promote its’ mission, HAMPCO channels state funds into the community by administering programs geared towards providing citizens with educational enhancements-tutorial, computer literacy, opportunities for academic competition, the nurturing of the Arts with our youth, enhancing the relationship between parents and their children, feeding the hungry and neglected destitute for our seniors and youth.
PROJECT H.E.L.P.’s goals are: 1) to involve parents and other family members in the teen pregnancy prevention process, 2) to implement a structured abstinence-based program for teens during school, after school, and in the summer months that will increase students’ abilities to say Not Me-Not Now to sex and to behave responsibly when choosing to engage in sex, 3) to provide opportunities for all teens to participate in, increase and maintain school, community, and business partnerships which support a safe and supervised environment.
